CMS Business School, Jain University is going to organize an annual intra-college fest 'Parichay-2017' under the theme of 'Man Machine Mind' to welcome the MBA batch of 2017-19.

The 5-day long fest 'Parichay' is a platform for new entrants to showcase their talent in extra-curricular activities. The fest comprises of events such as Best Manager, Business Quiz, and Cultural Activities etc.

The grand finale of the event will be held on 18 August 2017 at MLR Convention Hall, JP Nagar

As a part of the guest speaker series during Convergence, the orientation program of MBA batch 2017-19, Ms. Somdutta Singh, Founder- Digital Leadership Institute Google Education Platinum Partner Co-chair, Product Council, NASSCOM was invited to deliver a talk on the topic Digital Empowerment and Literacy for the Youth of India.

Focusing on the digital education in India which is a big opportunity for youth, she said that digital education is a roadmap to change India's future, which can lead to the creation of lakhs of jobs for the Indian youth. In her talk, she also mentioned the reasons behind recent layoffs in IT companies, its causes and effects. She further elaborated by citing relevant examples thus making the session interesting.

The students participated actively in the discussion. A 90-minute power packed information inspired students to achieve greater heights in future.
