A guest lecture titled ‘Linking your Customer Value Proposition to Financial Viability’ was conducted on April 29, 2021, under the Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management (EFBM) program of CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) as part of the Entrepreneurial Development, Launching and Managing an Enterprise, and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice courses. The coordinators from CMS Business School included Ms. Sakshi Chhabra - Adjunct Professor, and Dr. Lubna Ambreen - Assistant professor.
The guest speaker for the event was Professor Amit Gupta, a visiting faculty at General Management, CMS Business School. Mr. Gupta is a social entrepreneur and co-founder of indiacsrconnect.com, which works on technology-enabled social sector projects with corporate and non-profit sectors for project life cycle management. He is actively involved in social sector consulting, research, and international multi-lateral institution projects.
The guest lecture provided an insightful view on reading financial reports as an entrepreneur. The session provided a piece of in-depth knowledge on customer value proposition with regards to financial viability for an entrepreneur. The lecture offered valuable insights into reading and analyzing the financial reports for a startup. The session provided an overview of financial viability for startups. The event discussed all the major drivers that need to be taken care of while reading financial reports for startups. Also, the lecture covered all the aspects associated with customer value proposition. An hour-long online guest lecture was attended by eight students from the Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management (EFBM) program and generated a positive response. Overall the event was a success and provided valuable insights into the topic.
