CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized online alumni connect held on 18th September 2020. The resource person for this event was Mr. Tarun Prakash, an alumnus and an MBA graduate in finance from the batch of (2017-2019), and also a treasurer of the Apex Jain alumni association (JGI). Mr. Tarun is working as an Audit associate and Tax analyst for a UK Corporation in Ernst and Young.
The objective of this online alumnus connection was to enlighten the students about the BASEL NORMS and Assets Liability Committee – (ALCO), which will further kindle their interest in the subject of banking.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the session as they learned about how BASEL NORMSinternational banking regulations that are issued to coordinate and strengthen the banking system across the globe and the ALCO committee that plays a pivotal role in the successful management of bank assets and liabilities.
It was a highly informative learning experience for the final year MBA students as they not only learned about the various banking concepts but also got an opportunity to connect and learn from the experiences of an alumnus.
