25 Feb 2021
CMS B School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organized an online training program on “How to Retrieve Case Studies from E-Journals” Subscribed by CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)” on January 27,2021.
The most fundamental component of management education is to develop and foster the students' skills to analytically evaluate information. The prime objective of an MBA course is not only to train the students in management but also to prepare them to administer key positions with appropriate skills that can help them in their workplace.
The key speaker for the event was Mr. Prithviraj, Librarian, CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). He enlightened the participants on how using a case study from the present industrial scenario would be of immense relevance and importance in the context of functioning as a standpoint for envisaging different situations and learning by practicing.
While the recommended course material assists the student in gaining more knowledge, case studies facilitate in developing business wit and wisdom. Analyzing case studies provide ample scope for the application of information for example business cases direct the minds of the students in a particular situation and enable them to nurture the art of making astute decisions.
It was a great learning experience for the students who responded with positive feedback as they were elated to learn about the various aspects of case studies, build analytical skills and gain conceptual understanding. The training program not only enhanced rigorous thinking but enabled me to constructively approach any challenge.
