CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organized a faculty presentation event, titled “Anveshanam” for the faculty of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources on March 25, 2021. The coordinators for the session were Dr. Monoo John, Associate Professor, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources - CMS Business School, and Dr. Satyajeet Nanda, Associate Professor, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources - CMS Business School.
The session included informative presentations by various faculty members of CMS B School. Dr. Swetha Harsha, Adjunct faculty - CMS B School, gave a presentation on the topic titled, "Beyond Eudaimonia .... DMT". Dr. Swetha discussed the significance of a new concept called ‘Eudaimonia’ which means ‘beyond happiness’ and the therapeutic importance of specific dance movements. The study is still at a preliminary stage. There were some suggestions from the audience, specifically on implementation and validation aspects.
Dr. Gayathri. R, Assistant Professor - CMS Business School, discussed a paper titled, "The Impact of Utilization of HR Analytics Outcomes on Business Outcomes - A Mediation Model.” Dr. Gayathri discussed how the usage of HR analytics may improve the business outcomes of companies. The study is based on selected IT and ITES companies. There were several suggestions from the audience, specifically on the technical aspects of using different variables, testing their validity, and alternative analysis methods.
The session lasted for about an hour and was attended by 15 faculty members. Overall the event was a great success and provided valuable insight into various aspects of organizational behavior and human resource management to everyone present there.
