CMS – B-School, Jain (Deemed – to University) held a Good Samaritan in association with The Good Quest Foundation to help the flood affected victims at Belagavi. A donation drive inviting cash or kind was initiated by CMS Business School, in association with The Good Quest Foundation for the flood affected victims at Belagavi, Karnataka. The generous contribution was arranged to reach the destination on 24 Aug’19 with the help of volunteers of the foundation – Mr. Santosh Kumar G, college Staff coordinator of the campaign and a student volunteer of MBA program (batch 2019-21).
The team distributed the material to the flood affected victims in the villages of Belgaum, while rendering their selfless service in cleaning a Govt. school at Chikkodi, which was totally devastated in the rain. Some notebooks were also donated to the school.
On the second day, 25 of Aug’19, the team engaged with the children rehabilitated in relief camps at Athani, Belgaum by spending time talking with them and arranging recreational activities like indoor games. Further, few cultural performances were also presented by the team. These were executed with an objective to help the children in distress.
