CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) conducted a guest lecture titled ‘Being an Entrepreneur in India: The new Reality’ on April 29, 2021, under the Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management (EFBM) program as part of the Entrepreneurial Development, Launching and Managing an Enterprise, and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice courses. The coordinators from CMS Business School included Ms. Sakshi Chhabra - Adjunct Professor, and Dr. Lubna Ambreen - Assistant professor. The guest speaker for the event was Dr. M.K Lodi, Adjunct Professor at CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).
Dr. Lodi provided an insightful view on the meaning of entrepreneurship in the Indian scenario and the various challenges a nascent entrepreneur faces. During the lecture, he shared an overview of entrepreneurship with the students. He spoke about the prerequisites of launching a new enterprise. He also discussed various challenges an entrepreneur faces and the right approach to deal with those challenges.
An hour-long online guest lecture was attended by eight students from the Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management (EFBM) program and generated a positive response. Overall the event was a success and explored various aspects of entrepreneurship.
