Vigilance Week



CMS B school, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) had observed Vigilance Week which highlighted about corruption been a major obstacle.30 October’19 - 5 November’19. In order to mark the occasion, a meeting was held in Seminar Hall 3 from 12:45 pm on 2 October’19, which was attended by the students, faculty members and the non-teaching staff of the institution. The Dean of the B-school, Dr. Harold Andrew Patrick addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of the “Vigilance Week”. He highlighted that corruption has been one of the major obstacles to economic, political and social progress of our country. In order to eradicate such a social evil, all the stakeholders, such as Government, citizens and private sector need to work together. As a citizen of India, he urged that one should be vigilant and commit to the highest standard of honesty and integrity at all times and support the fight against corruption.

This was followed by a pledge-taking ceremony, wherein all took an oath to follow rules, neither take nor offer bribe, showcase honesty and integrity at work, act in public interest, led by example and report any incidence of corruption to the appropriate authority.
