JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Learning Resource Center with its wide collection of books, journals, magazines, theses/dissertations, reports, CDs, etc., provide a range of information services to enhance student learning and research activities.
CMS Business School library measuring 4500 sq.ft is located on the first floor. The library is automated with KOHA Library Management System and EBSCO Discovery Service enabling its faculty members, students, and research scholars to locate online resources in a single platform. A team of subject specialist librarians and other trained staff are available to assist with general and subject-specific information requirements.
The library has subscribed more than 168000 e-books and 11538 e-journals with 4,642 SCOPUS indexed journals. Also, more than 50 online newspapers through EBSCO.
we have more than 11000 volumes. Lending Section assists patrons with the location and circulation of learning materials. Service includes check-outs and check-ins, shelving and overdue charging. It has a collection of more than 11000 cataloged books. Books are classified by using Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme and arranged on the shelves according to the subject.
The reference section has a collection of 2500 rare books and case collection across the disciplines. It also supports the research activities of students and faculty members.
The library has subscribed more than 175 national journals in print edition across the disciples of management.
There are totally 542 back issues of selected journals are available for research work. Back issues are arranged in alphabetic order for easy access.
We have subscribed 14 national newspapers in print copy.
The library is providing effective literacy programs for learners through orientation, book exhibition, book talks, database training, etc.
