Online Workshop on Decluttering the Clutter of Fraud/Predatory Journals and Impact Factors in Indian Academia

The Faculty Research & Development Committee (FRDC), CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), is organising an online faculty development workshop aimed at enhancing awareness and critical understanding of fraudulent and predatory journals, misleading impact factors, and best practices for maintaining research integrity in Indian academia.

Workshop Details:

  1. Topic: Decluttering the Clutter of Fraud/Predatory Journals and Impact Factors in Indian Academia
  2. Guest Speaker: Dr. Sumit Narula, Dean and Professor, Times School of Media, Bennett University
  3. Mode: Online
  4. Duration: 3 Hours (Two Sessions – 90 minutes each)

  2. 7th February 2026: 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM

Faculty Members, Research Scholars, Research Assistants (RA), and Teaching Assistants (TA) of
JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).

Last Date for Registration: 4th February 2026

Certification:
E-certificates will be issued to participants who attend both sessions.

This workshop will be highly beneficial in strengthening publication ethics and improving research quality. All eligible faculty members and research personnel are strongly encouraged to participate.
