Anti-ragging campaigns are essential for creating inclusive, safe learning environments on campuses all across the world. These actions aim to end the damaging practice of ragging, which frequently involve the psychological, emotional, and even physical harassment of newcomers, by fostering a culture of respect, understanding, and empathy. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) understands that such programmes not only safeguard students’ physical and mental health, but they also preserve the values of equality and dignity, enabling everyone to pursue their academic goals without concern about intimidation or injury.
In order to prevent ragging, UGC has framed regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions. UGC has also taken several proactive steps including the effective launch of a Media Campaign for preventing ragging. These regulations are mandatory and all institutions are required to take necessary steps for its implementation. Honouring the new regulations, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) continuously demonstrates its dedication in establishing a healthy learning environment where students can thrive and positively impact society by encouraging a culture of camaraderie and collaboration.
