09 Sep 2024

The FIG Club on September 3, 2024, hosted a Case Study Competition: Sustainable Finance and ESG Investing.

The competition focused on sustainable finance and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). The participants belonged to the III Semester of the MBA Program at CMS Business School.

Organized with the intent to inspire innovation and deepen understanding of sustainability practices, the competition invites teams of four to demonstrate their analytical and presentation skills. The competition revolved around analysing the impact of sustainable finance practices on long-term investment performance.

Teams assess ESG criteria and evaluate various ESG investment strategies, offering a comprehensive perspective on how these factors influence financial decision-making. The objective is to test the participants’ knowledge and foster a deeper understanding of how sustainability is becoming integral to modern finance. This invaluable experience tested participants’ abilities and prepared them for the challenges of integrating sustainability into financial decision-making in their future careers.
