Bengaluru, 26th September 2025 - The Faculty of Management at CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), welcomed its incoming MBA cohort through Parichay 2025, a flagship student engagement initiative designed to blend creativity, collaboration, and leadership development. Held from 10 to 26 September 2025, this year’s edition centred on the theme “Dharohar - The Legacy of Values”, placing ethical leadership and human values at the heart of the student experience.
More than an orientation programme or inter-team competition, Parichay has evolved into a transformative platform where students engage with real-world challenges while building confidence, communication skills, and professional relationships. Through a carefully curated mix of themed days, competitions, performances, and cultural activities, the event encouraged students to step beyond conventional classroom boundaries and explore the broader dimensions of management education.
The theme Dharohar reflected a conscious effort to reconnect future business leaders with timeless virtues such as truth, righteousness, peace, love, and non-violence. At a time when professional success is often measured by speed and competition, the initiative highlighted the importance of balancing ambition with integrity and empathy. The programme also aligned with the broader educational vision outlined in NEP 2020 and NAAC frameworks, both of which advocate holistic and value-based learning.
Throughout the event, students worked in teams, participated in creative problem-solving activities, and immersed themselves in collaborative experiences that strengthened both interpersonal and leadership capabilities. The emphasis on participation over performance created an inclusive environment where students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds could connect and contribute meaningfully.
Central to Parichay 2025 was the philosophy of E³ - Ethics, Empathy, and Excellence which served as a guiding principle across all activities and interactions. By embedding these values into the student journey from the very beginning, the event sought to shape not only capable management professionals but also socially conscious individuals prepared to lead with responsibility and purpose in an increasingly complex world.
