06 Nov 2025

Bengaluru, 6th November 2025 - CMS B-School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), transformed into a vibrant celebration of India’s cultural richness on 6 November 2025 as students, faculty, and staff gathered for Samskruthi 2025, the institution’s annual cultural festival commemorating Kannada Rajyotsava. Organised by the Student Council, the event embraced the theme “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”, highlighting the importance of unity through cultural diversity.

The celebrations were inaugurated in the presence of chief guest Ajay Warier, renowned playback singer, whose participation added a special cultural resonance to the occasion. Bringing together students from varied regional and linguistic backgrounds, the festival created a lively platform for showcasing India’s traditions, artistic expressions, languages, music, and dance forms.

Throughout the day, the campus echoed with performances that reflected the country’s cultural mosaic. Traditional attire, folk music, classical and contemporary dance performances, and regional artistic presentations turned the event into more than a celebration - it became an immersive cultural exchange. Students enthusiastically represented their heritage while learning about the customs and traditions of their peers, reinforcing a sense of collective identity within diversity.

At the heart of Samskruthi was the idea that cultural understanding plays an essential role in shaping socially aware and globally minded individuals. By encouraging participation across regions and communities, the event fostered inclusivity, mutual respect, and appreciation for India’s pluralistic identity. The festival also provided students with opportunities to build confidence, collaboration, and interpersonal skills through creative expression and teamwork.

Beyond its festivities, Samskruthi reflected CMS B-School’s broader educational philosophy of combining academic excellence with cultural awareness and social responsibility. In celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava through the lens of national unity, the institution reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing students who value both their individual heritage and the shared spirit of coexistence that defines contemporary India.
