CMS Business School Celebrates Cultural Heritage and Unity through a Vibrant Kannada Rajyotsava Programme

Bengaluru, 6 November 2025: CMS Business School, Faculty of Management Studies, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), hosted Samskruti–2025, a vivid cultural celebration organised by the Student Council Committee under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator Dr Premalatha K. P. Held at the Seminar Hall, FMS–CMS Block, the event brought together students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff for an engaging three-hour programme honouring the cultural significance of Kannada Rajyotsava.

Samskruti–2025 aimed to promote cultural awareness, inclusivity, and creative expression among the student community. The event showcased an array of performances, including music, dance, drama, and artistic presentations that highlighted India’s diverse cultural fabric and celebrated the philosophy of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

The celebration was graced by Shri Ajay Warier,a  noted professional singer from the music industry, whose presence added vibrancy and inspiration to the occasion. His interactions and musical engagement with students elevated the programme’s artistic depth and encouraged young performers to explore their cultural roots with pride.

Students displayed exceptional enthusiasm and talent throughout the event, dressed in traditional attire and presenting performances that reflected India’s artistic richness, ranging from classical forms to folk expressions. The collective participation of the academic community underscored the institution’s commitment to fostering harmony, creativity, and cultural identity.

Speaking about the significance of the event, Dr Premalatha K. P., Faculty Coordinator, remarked: “Samskruti–2025 was more than a cultural programme; it was a platform for our students to embrace and celebrate the profound heritage of our nation. Events such as these reinforce unity, creativity, and respect for tradition—values that lie at the core of holistic education at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).”

Samskruti–2025 successfully fostered a sense of cultural belonging and community engagement on campus. The event concluded with appreciation for all participants and contributors, along with encouragement for continued involvement in cultural and co-curricular initiatives. Future editions of the programme will continue to expand opportunities for students to explore India’s diverse cultural landscape through performance, collaboration, and experiential learning.
