CMS B School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) celebrated road safety week in order to create the awareness among people regarding accidents caused by errors in driving. Upparpet Traffic police station, Sub Inspector Mr. Ganadhaar, Assistant Sub Inspector Mr. Narayanappa and their team visited CMS Business School, Sheshadri Road to address the students of the institution. The program concentrated on the errors which the vehicle driver and pillion riders make highlighting the reasons to avoid risky driving. Rules, which have been made for the safety of the follower, need to be abided by, as breaking them can put themselves along with others at risk. They stressed that two-wheeler or four wheelers drivers should follow the road safety rules, wear a helmet, etc., By following the safety rules the number of accidents can be contained and further save human lives. They reiterated that wearing ISI helmet is recommended. The program also disclosed the new traffic violation fine structure. Prof Rajiv U Kalebar, CMS Business, concluded the event by thanking the traffic police officers and their team for the awareness program. He also requested students to be careful while driving on the roads as accidents not only bring pain to the injured but also to the loved ones.
