The Faculty of Management Studies – CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), organised an engaging Business Practitioner session on 12 September 2025 at Seminar Hall 3, First Floor, FMS–CMS, Bengaluru. The session featured Mr. Rameshkumar Sriram, Regional Manager at Tulip Cocoa Processing Ltd., Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, and was coordinated by Dr. Navaneetha Kumar V. A total of 48 participants attended the session.
The session, titled “Procurement Traceability, Tracking, Quality, and Warehousing”, offered an in-depth exploration of key facets of supply chain management. Drawing on his extensive international experience, Mr. Sriram provided valuable insights into the integration of procurement and traceability systems, highlighting their role in enhancing transparency, mitigating risks, and optimising operational efficiency within the supply chain ecosystem.
He further elaborated on quality assurance protocols and warehouse management strategies essential to ensuring seamless production and distribution workflows. The discussion effectively bridged academic learning with industry realities, enabling students to comprehend how theoretical frameworks translate into practical business operations.
The interactive format encouraged active engagement, with students posing questions on emerging technologies in supply chain traceability and data-driven logistics. Mr. Sriram’s real-world examples underscored the importance of adaptability and innovation in navigating global supply chain challenges.
Speaking about the event, Dr. Navaneetha Kumar V, Faculty Coordinator, remarked, “Sessions such as these enrich our students’ understanding by connecting classroom learning with industry applications.
