CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) celebrated Ethnic Day – Festivals of India with much pomp and joy on 25 October’19. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Dinesh Nilkanth, Director, and CMS Business School in the presence of Dr. Harold Andrew Patrick, Dean, Dr. N.C. Chandrashekhar, Dean Executive Education, Area Chairs and Faculty members. The students showcased various cultures of the country through cultural performances, and converting their classrooms into centers for ethnic experiences through food, games, and photo booths. The students were dressed up in ethnic attires, most of whom represented some other state to which they don’t hail from to appreciate the culture of that state. The ‘Ethnic day’ was not restricted to show appreciation and inclusiveness of the cultures of India alone, but also showcased the ethnicity of Afghani and Nepali cultures. The event depicted in a true sense ‘the cultural melting pot’ that India is known for.
